Sometimes we just want someone to ask us about our travel experiences without us having to shove it into their faces or wondering whether we're talking about it too much in a humble-brag sort of way. These quality patches invite people to ask you about your travels without you even having to prompt them! They are an integral part of an enviable, instagram-worthy travel collection. You don't even have to collect them. It's great to have your own country sewn onto your backpack or jacket, since a) it makes it easier to find on the baggage carousel and b) you get to proudly display your country of origin wherever you go, which is an awesome conversation-starter internationally and allows you to meet so many great people abroad.
And yes, technically Bermuda and Greenland are part of North America, at least based on the United Nations grouping. Please don't send me hate mail over it.
